Annie was an Assistant Directors of Photography for the Columbia Missourian. She was in charge of daily workflow, coaching photojournalists and helping with video work. Below is some photo and video editing completed did during her time at the publication.
The Kelly Miller Circus performed two shows on Wednesday in Ashland. Slated as "America’s One Ring Wonder" the Kelly Miller Circus was founded in 1938 and was sold to John Ringling North II in 2007. North’s great uncles were the famous Ringling Brothers. The show included aerialists, dogs doing tricks, a zebra who could answer math questions and Cindy, the 8,000-pound elephant.

More than 80 tuba and euphonium players perform at Tuba Christmas on Saturday at the Columbia Mall. The annual event allows a large number of tubas and euphoniums players to perform songs for the holidays all together, something that is not common in most orchestras because there are typically no more than a handful of tubas and euphoniums.
Performers from the Capital Normal University in Beijing danced, sang, played music, painted and created a paper-cutting Monday at the Missouri Theatre. MU Confucius Institute hosted the event to celebrate Confucius Institute Day. The performance included Beijing Opera, sword dancing, pipa and flute music, Chinese painting and Chinese paper-cutting. The performers gifted MU Confucius Institute with their final paintings and paper-cutting.
